ZKW980 Portable Corrosion Monitoring Station

Applicable to laboratory measurement and industrial site measurement, the ZKW980 portable corrosion monitoring station is used for measuring corrosion rate. Based on metal corrosion loss measurement, the corrosion loss rate is calculated by measuring the changes of AC signal caused by corrosion thickness reduction of corrosion sample. As shown in Figure 1, when suffering from corrosion, the cross-sectional area of the measuring element planted in the pipeline is reduced, leading to AC signal changes. By applying AC signal to measuring sample, and the thickness reduction and corrosion rate of measuring element can be calculated by AC signal change. When objective conditions such as measuring element material and corrosion by medium are basically identical with those of equipment for measurement, the corrosion rate of equipment can be closely approximated to that of measuring element.
